1. Why was I charged an international transaction fee?

FridgeTunes™ uses Stripe, a U.S.-based payment processor that allows us to serve customers globally. Some banks charge a small international fee — this is issued by your bank, not us. We recommend checking with your bank for specific details.


2. Why is my card being declined?

Here are a few common reasons:

  • Card not activated

  • Incorrect details entered (CVV, expiration, etc.)

  • Card limit reached

  • Unusual activity flagged as potential fraud

  • Card account closed

  • Temporary technical issues — try again later

👉 Tip: If everything looks right, contact your bank or use PayPal for a quicker alternative.


3. Why do I see a double charge?

If you only received one confirmation email, the second charge is likely a temporary authorization hold used to verify your payment. This hold will be released by your bank within 1–8 business days.

If you received multiple confirmation emails with different order numbers, it means multiple orders were placed. You can cancel any duplicate orders


4. Do I need to pay import duties or taxes?

Customs fees vary by country. Taxes and duties are not included in the product price and may be collected upon delivery, depending on your location and local customs policies.
